We’re happy to share two recent articles by HELI 2014 alum Olayinka Shiyanbola, PhD, BPharm, and HELI 2010 alum Earlise Ward, PhD.

Sociocultural Influences on African Americans’ Representations of Type 2 Diabetes: A Qualitative Study” is published in the Journal of Ethnicity & Disease. A PDF of the article is available here.

Dr. Shiyanbola is an Assistant Professor in the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy Social and Administrative Sciences Division and an ICTR KL2 Scholar. Dr. Ward is an Associate Professor in the UW-Madison School of Nursing and the forthcoming Director of the Morgridge Center for Public Service.

Carolyn Brown, PhD, is an additional coauthor on these papers.
