Dr. Felder contributed to a recent Special Issue of Progress in Community Health Partnerships focused on theNCI Community Networks Program and her article, “Mentoring and Training of Cancer-Related Health Disparities Researchers Committed to Community-Based Participatory Research,” focuses on survey results from the training initiative of this national community-based program. The paper describes the academic, mentoring, training, and work-life balance experiences of CNPC-affiliated trainees (early stage faculty and students). HELI colleague Dr. Christine Pfund, and others are referenced, as some questions included in the survey were taken from Dr. Felder’s experience at HELI 2011.
