The opening is for an Assistant Research Professor in the School of Public Health and Health Sciences. Responsibilities include leading the social and health impacts team of the Social and Economic Impacts of Gambling in Massachusetts (SEIGMA) study, assisting with the Massachusetts Gambling Impact Cohort (MAGIC) study, developing publications related to the two studies, and working to develop an internationally –recognized, long-term research program that will sustain and enhance gambling research capacity at the University. This is a full-time position and, although the appointment is on an annual basis, both SEIGMA and MAGIC are multi-year projects with commitments for continued funding from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
