Family Health and Well-Being Opportunity at Maryland

The Department of Family Science in the School of Public Health at University of Maryland, College Park seeks a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor to join a dynamic, interdisciplinary department with family science, maternal and child health, and couple and family therapy programs.

They are particularly interested in candidates conducting research in one or more of these broad areas: the impact of discrimination and racism on family health and well-being (e.g. physical, mental and reproductive health outcomes); the health and well-being of families around the globe affected by climate, migration, conflict, and pandemics; families and healthy aging across the life course; or translation of research evidence into advocacy for policies that promote health equity and social justice for families at local, national and global levels.

This is a 9-month tenure-track appointment. Appointments may begin in August 2022 or on a mutually agreed-upon date.
