Georgia Southern University is seeking to fill TWO faculty positions!
Both positions are for a 10-month, tenure-track appointment in the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health. The home campus for these positions will be the Armstrong campus located in Savannah, GA.
The Department of Health Policy and Community Health invites applications and nominations for the position of tenure-track Assistant Professor. To complement current teaching, research, and professional services activities in the college, professional characteristics ideal for this position include the ability to articulate a clear approach to using their knowledge and skills to integrate principles and practices of public health, including health informatics, into the traditional public health practice and healthcare market. Potential for securing external funds is also a priority.

The Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Environmental Health Sciences (BEES) invites applications and nominations for the position of a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Biostatistics. The Assistant Professor will contribute to the department’s mission of research and training by maintaining an active methodological research program, engaging with multidisciplinary research teams, mentoring graduate students, teaching graduate and undergraduate biostatistics courses to biostatistics and public health students, and contributing to the department, college, and University through professional service.
