The Department of Public Health in the School of Health Professions at the University of Missouri (MU) – Columbia, seeks applicants for a full-time tenure/tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in Epidemiology, with research interests in influenza and/or emerging infectious diseases.
Qualified candidates will have a PhD or DrPH in Epidemiology or closely related field; an MD with Epidemiology training will also be considered. An ideal candidate would have prior experience in infectious disease epidemiology, cohort study design, and biospecimen collection. Advanced quantitative data analytical skills are essential.
The tenure home will be the Department of Public Health, where strengths include the following areas: HIV/AIDS, Vulnerable Populations and Health Disparities, Rural Health, and Health across the Life-course.
