Michigan Integrated Well-Being and Inequality Program

The Michigan Integrated Well-Being and Inequality (MIWI) Training Program is accepting applications for its 2021-2022 cohort.

The MIWI Training Program is an interdisciplinary methods training program that prepares participating scholars to investigate the intersection of mental and physical health, with an emphasis on how this intersection relates to health disparities. The program includes an intensive 4-day summer institute in Ann Arbor, MI, followed by ongoing collaboration with a mentorship team.

MIWI is looking for early career faculty/scientists from a wide range of backgrounds to apply. There is no cost to participate. The program includes an intensive institute, ongoing mentorship, and research network building. They are still working out some details due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more on their website and find full application instructions here.

The deadline to apply is March 1, 2021.

Questions may be directed to miwitraining@umich.edu.

Thank you to HELI 2010 alumna Dr. Tiffany Green for sharing with us!
