Congratulations to HELI 2018 Alumna Dr. Maichou Lor!
Maichou Lor, PhD, RN, is joining the faculty in the UW-Madison School of Nursing as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Fall 2019!
Dr. Lor is currently working on a pain visualization project to improve cross-cultural pain communication between Hmong patients and their healthcare providers in primary care settings. She also plans to submit a career development award to the National Institute of Nursing Research.
Dr. Lor earned her PhD from the UW-Madison School of Nursing and is the first Hmong-American nurse to earn a PhD in the United States.
