Congratulations to HELI 2018 Alumna Dr. Ricky Camplain!
Ricky Camplain, PhD, has joined the faculty in the Center for Health Equity Research and Department of Health Sciences at Northern Arizona University as a tenure-track Assistant Professor as of July 1, 2019. Dr. Camplain was promoted from her post-doctoral fellowship with the Center for Health Equity Research.
Dr. Camplain notes how her HELI 2018 experience was influential on her career: “Hearing others’ stories and reflection on their careers was extremely helpful when thinking about my own trajectory. HELI scholars, staff, and faculty gave me more confidence in my ability to move through academics and I feel as if I belong in academics rather than an outsider.”
