The Department of Health Policy, Management and Behavior in the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health (JPHCOPH) at Georgia Southern University invites applications and nominations for the position of Lecturer at the Armstrong Campus in Savannah, GA.
Reporting to the Department Chair, the Lecturer will be required to contribute to departmental and college teaching and services objectives. The position centers on strengthening the department’s undergraduate course offerings and will include a workload of primarily teaching time in core curriculum courses, consisting of contact hours in the classroom and additional service associated with student success in the core curriculum. The successful candidate will also possess a commitment to innovative methods of instruction and professional development in the area of teaching.
The position is a 9-month, non-tenure track appointment, and the salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Screening of applications begins January 21, 2019, and continues until April 19, 2019. The preferred position starting date is August 1, 2019.
