The Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health is inviting applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with a focus on Black Health Issues. This tenure-track position will be based in the School’s Department of Community Health & Prevention with a starting date on or after September 1, 2019.
Applications are encouraged from scholars desiring to build a research program that will have an impact on health disparities and health equity issues affecting Black people in the United States.
Candidates for appointment at the Assistant Professor tenure-track level must exhibit strong potential for developing independent, externally funded research program in the area of Black health. Additional important qualifications are the potential for effective teaching and mentoring in one or more topic areas relevant to the Community Health & Prevention curriculum and a scholarly approach favorable to collaboration with other faculty in the Department and throughout the School and University.
