Chair of Anesthesiology Opportunity at UW-Madison

The UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking candidates for the Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology & would appreciate your help in identifying potential candidates for this key leadership position.

The Department seeks a recognized leader with proven leadership and management skills as well as an outstanding academic background and strong clinical credentials.

The successful candidate will have a compelling vision for the future of anesthesiology in an academic health system, and at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health in particular. Candidates must have an MD or MD/ PhD degree or equivalent, and board certification in Anesthesiology. Additionally, candidates must be eligible for Wisconsin medical license; have a substantial background and experience in administrative leadership, clinical care, teaching and research, including training programs for the full continuum of anesthesiology learners; and a strong academic background that would qualify for appointment as a tenured professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
