We are happy to congratulate HELI 2013 alum Dana Garbarski, PhD, on her new appointment as Carolyn Farrell Endowed Assistant Professor in the Gannon Center for Women and Leadership at Loyola University Chicago!
Dr. Garbarski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Loyola and comes to this new position with evidence of her distinguished scholarship, superb teaching, and far-reaching contributions of service to her department, the University, and the Academy. In addition to being a HELI Alumni, Dr. Garbarski also completed her postdoctoral training in the Health Disparities Research Scholars program in the Center for Women’s Health and Health Disparities Research at UW-Madison and was involved with our Advancing Health Equity and Diversity (AHEAD) Program.
