We’d like to share a recently published article by by HELI 2015 alum Anuli Njoku, DrPH, MPH, and HELI 2016 alum Fathima Wakeel, PhD, MPH. “Developing a Learner-Centered Curriculum for a Rural Public Health Program” is published in the International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. Dr. Njoku and Dr. Wakeel are both Assistant Professors of Public Health at Ferris State University’s College of Health Professions. Their paper describes the collaborative efforts of five public health faculty, an instructional designer, and administrators to develop a learner-centered curriculum for a newly launched public health program in a rural Midwestern United States university.
Thank you for sharing your work with us! We’re delighted to see this strong evidence of HELI cohort collaboration and successful publication!
