CCHE would like to alert you to THREE National Research Mentoring Network coaching groups open for applications!

NRMN P3 Cohort 5 – Proposal Preparation Program

WHO: Researchers who are ready to write at program start, preparing a new or resubmitting a revised NIH K- or R-series proposal with an NIH deadline of January-March 2018

WHERE: University of Minnesota Twin Cities – Minneapolis, MN + online sessions

WHEN?: June 26-November 17, 2017

Application deadline: April 10, 2017

Candidates should follow these steps:

  1. Create an online profile at NRMNet.net by clicking here.
    1. You will be prompted to create a password and answer a set of basic questions to create your profile.
    2. When asked, “From which organization did you hear about NRMN?” please select “NRMN PDC – Professional Development Core” from the dropdown menu.
    3. Once you’ve completed your registration, you will see a notification that your NRMN Profile has been updated. You may then move on to Step 2.
  2. Submit your program application with the following materials:
    1. Content mentor support form (click here to download form)
    2. Grant proposal aims page

NRMN NU Cohort 3 – Northwestern University

WHO: Researchers who are ready to write at program start, preparing new or resubmitting a revised NIH K- or R- series proposals

WHERE: Northwestern University – Chicago, IL + online sessions

WHEN: Kickoff June 6-7, 2017

Application deadline: April 10, 2017

Candidates should follow these steps:

  1. Create an online profile at NRMNet.net by clicking here.
    1. You will be prompted to create a password and answer a set of basic questions to create your profile.
    2. When asked, “from which organization did you hear about NRMN?” please select “NRMN PDC – Professional Development Core” from the dropdown menu.
    3. Once you’ve completed your registration, you will see a notification that your NRMN Profile has been updated. You may then move on to Step 2.

NRMN STAR Cohort 3 – Steps Toward Academic Research

WHO: Postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty with minimal or no grant writing experience and a sincere interest in establishing a research career and can commit to a year-long training program

WHERE: University of North Texas Health Science Center – Fort Worth, Texas + online sessions

WHEN: July 5, 2017-June 8, 2018

Application deadline*: May 8, 2017

*Only coach applications are being accepted at this time
