The Center would like to share a recently published article by academic collaborator and Health Equity Leadership Institute (HELI) faculty Mary A. Garza, PhD, MPH. Dr. Garza is Assistant Professor in Behavioral and Community Health in the University of Maryland School of Public Health and an Associate Director of the Maryland Center for Health Equity.
The article she contributed to, “Effect of patient navigation on colorectal cancer screening in a community-based randomized controlled trial of urban African American adults,” is published in the December 2014 issue of Cancer Causes & Control and is available online via Springer Link, here.
