The Center is pleased to announce that the UW School of Medicine and Public Health was honored this past Saturday, November 2, at the Association of American Medical Colleges’ (AAMC) annual meeting with the Spencer Foreman Award for Outstanding Community Service!
This prestigious award honors member institutions with a longstanding, major institutional commitment to addressing community needs. It recognizes exceptional programs that go well beyond the traditional role of academic medicine and reach communities whose needs are not being met through the tradition al health delivery system.
