This post is to let you know that our partners and friends, Sharon and Larry Adams at Walnut Way Conservation Corp in Milwaukee, alerted us to significant damage to the Walnut Way house from a fire in late September. Many of you may remember touring the home and the gardens and neighborhood as part of our HELI Day in Milwaukee. The rear of the Walnut Way home was completely destroyed. Very fortunately, no one was hurt.
The Walnut Way team is committed to rebuilding and is temporarily housed in a new office at 1836 W. Fond du Lac Ave in Milwaukee. If you are interested in helping Sharon, Larry and staff and neighbors with rebuilding efforts, donations to assist can be made here.
